Story:
Lara arrives in Paris at the request of her former mentor, Werner Von Croy. Von Croy explains that he has been searching for icons known as the Obscura Paintings by a man named Eckhardt. A mysterious serial killer known as the ‘Monstrum’ plagues Von Croy explaining to Lara that the city is on full alert for the killer.
After a confrontation between Lara and Von Croy, Lara is knocked out. Waking up from the events, Lara finds Von Croy dead. Framed for his murder, Lara must escape the police and find the truth about what happened.
